  The House of Culture is a public institution that has been in existence since 1993.

  Its usual source of funding comes from Local Council of Arad ( over 20%), and own resources.

  The Arad House of Culture initiates and coordinates the major part of all cultural events in the city of Arad together with one of  the vicemayors.

  It is an institution which coordonates, initiates or patronizes cultural projects of Arad.

  House of Culture has the office in Old Theatre or Hirschl House, the first buliding in Romania which hosted a theatre with permanent programme.
